You'll sit the following exam, which we guarantee you'll pass:
- Exam - SY0-301
The CompTIA Security+ certification exam is targeted at professionals with at least two years of networking experience and possess a thorough knowledge of TCP/IP. Those holding the Security+ certification have demonstrated the aptitude and ability to master such knowledge areas as: general security concepts, communications security, infrastructure security, basics of cryptography, and operational/organizational security.
It is recommended that the Security+ test candidate have the knowledge and skills equivalent of those tested for in the CompTIA A+ and Network+ certification exams.
Taking the Exam
The Security+ Exam SY0-301 consists of 100 questions to be completed in 90 minutes. The minimum passing score is 764, graded on a scale of 100 - 900. Test results are displayed as soon as you complete the exam.

Students who are successful in the CompTIA Security+ Certification Firebrand Training should possess:
- MS-DOS and Windows experience, 2000 and/or XP experience preferred.
- The ability to identify the basic components of networks and their roles, including routers, hubs, switches, and file servers.
- A basic understanding of the OSI Model and TCP/IP.
